To be sure that the road crew will be working, call 719-577-9111 after 6:00 a.m. the morning you would like to work to check for cancellations on the pre-recorded message.
DO NOT assume that a road crew is canceled due to bad weather; you must call the above number to confirm.
Check in is at 8:00 a.m.. You will not be allowed to work if you arrive late.
Meet at KCSB office: 724 S. Tejon, Suite A. This is the same location where you registered.
It is your responsibility to come to the KCSB office to get an updated schedule when needed.
Note to Parents: Be sure your child is prepared with long pants, shoes and socks, a jacket, cold lunch, work gloves and a water bottle. Please make sure that they do not have a cell phone, any electronics, knives, cigarettes and lighters.
Parents please arrive 15 minutes early to pick up your child.
BE PREPARED WITH THE FOLLOWING:
- Bring heavy work gloves.
- Wear clothing and close-toed shoes appropriate for uneven terrain, a lot of walking and the weather.
- Bring a cold lunch or you will not be allowed to work (do not bring lunch money).
- Bring a water bottle.
- Pants must be belted and at your waist.
- No tank tops or crop tops.
- Under the age of 18 - do not bring cell phones, music, headphones, cigarettes, tobacco of any kind or lighters
- 18 and older - be prepared to check in your cell phone when you are working. Do not bring music or headphones.
