Court-Ordered Sign-Up | Keep Colorado Springs Beautiful

If you have been found guilty in a court of law, one option for the judge is to assign you community service hours. While court-ordered community service is technically and legally a punishment, it is also an opportunity to learn from your mistakes and to contribute to the community. It can also be a valuable opportunity to learn about yourself and to learn new skills that can be applied to future work opportunities.

Here is what you need to do:

  • The office is open between noon and 4:15 p.m., Wednesday through Friday. Do not arrive earlier than noon or later than 4:15.
  • The person who is doing the court-ordered community service MUST register in person (address above) regardless of age.
  • If you are under the age of 18, your parent or guardian MUST appear with you and you must be present to register.
  • If you went through Municipal or Teen Court, bring your time sheets and all other information given to you by the court.
  • For JOS/AOS, know the number of hours you were assigned, your completion date and the name of your case manager.

YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK WITH YOU WHEN YOU COME IN TO REGISTER. NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT BRING ALL OF IT WITH YOU, YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED. IF IN DOUBT ABOUT WHAT IS NEEDED, BRING WITH YOU ALL PAPERWORK YOU RECEIVED IN COURT OR FROM YOUR CASE MANAGER.

If you have a choice, do your Community Service with us!
Keep Colorado Springs, Inc. has many projects that you can participate in to meet your required hours.
